My Secret to Dealing with Anxiety

Today, I am partnering with Hum Nutrition to share with you my secret to dealing with anxiety.

All throughout my life, I have had a few traumatic events that has lead up to this moment where I am always filled with anxiousness and/or nervousness.

When it comes to anxiety, it is a very difficult mental disorder to deal with. For me, I am always filled with nervousness, most of the time I can’t seem to get those pesky negative thoughts out of my head, and I am left asking myself the same question time and time again…

“Am I crazy?”

If you suffer from anxiety then I am sure you have asked yourself that same exact question. And the answer is NO, you are not crazy and neither am I.

Anxiety affects approximately 40 million adults between the ages of 18 to 54. Unfortunately, I am one of them.

My Experience With Prescription Drugs

I always told myself and my loved ones that I wouldn’t take any kind of prescription drugs to deal with my anxiety, however, that changed.

A few months ago my anxiety was at an all-time high and I didn’t know where to turn. So in my time of despair, I made the bold decision to take a trip to the doctor. Upon my arrival, I had to take an anxiety test – which is a set of questions that determine whether you have mild to severe anxiety. My numbers were high, so I had to say HELLO to the prescription drugs.

My first bottle of prescription medicine started off pretty good. I would wake up in a great mood, I was barely ever irritated, and the negative thoughts seemed to have found themselves a window to escape out of.

I was RELIEVED.

However, that was short lived because the side effects had revealed themselves – I began to hallucinate and have very horrifying dreams. So, my doctor immediately took me off of them.

My second bottle of prescription medicine didn’t go so well. I only took them for a week and I would always wake up in the most irritable mood.

That’s when I knew it was time to stop putting these toxins in my body.

My Secret to Dealing with Anxiety

So, I went on a search to look for something more natural and something that I would feel more comfortable with.

And there it was… An ad for Hum Nutrition.

If you have NEVER heard of Hum Nutrition, it is a company that has vitamins ranging from stress supplements to weight loss supplements.

Did I mention that they were NATURAL?!

I, then came across one of their vitamins called Big Chill which helps you stay calm, focus, and cope with stress. It is also made from Rhodiola Rosea, which is a calming root extract. It is known for its ability to ease the demanding stresses of life by reducing fatigue and boosting mental stamina.

That’s when I knew that I needed to try it, so I reached out to them and they sent me a bottle.

I was beyond excited to try these supplements because I was in dire need of finding something that would help to calm my anxiety.

I started taking them as soon as I received them. You are instructed to take one capsule at any time with food.

Let me just say, I have been taking these vitamins for almost 4 weeks and I have seen such a huge change in my anxiety. I find myself calmer, able to focus on a task at hand and those pesky thoughts have settled when before I lacked concentration, dreaded getting out of bed because of the overwhelming feeling of anxiousness and my thoughts were EVERYWHERE.
