Do you have an Instagram?

If you don’t have an Instagram I’m going to assume that you’ve been living under a rock (like Patrick off of Spongebob) or you just don’t like the whole social media scene which is completely fine. Instagram has been growing ever since 2010 with over 800 million users! WOW! It’s such a great platform that allows us to share a little corner of our life with the world. Instagram can be fun, but it also can be a bit stressful when you don’t have all the necessary tools you need. From editing tools and more! But, don’t you worry. I’m here to let you in on a few of the Instagram tools I’ve been using faithfully.

Here are the tools/apps I’ll be talking about :

  •  Planoly
  • Snapseed
  • Unfold
  • Followers Track for Instagram
And, most of these tools are absolutely free to use!

Visual Planning = Planoly:

You’ve ever come across those beautiful Instagram accounts with such a cohesive feed? All their pictures have the same color scheme and it just looks like a huge puzzle piece? Well, with Planoly you can plan out your feed and make your feed look just as beautiful. Find you a color scheme you’d like to stick to, edit your photos, upload them to Planoly and rearrange your pictures until you like the outcome! And speaking of editing.. which leads us to our next Instagram tool. img_2094

Photo Editor = Snapseed:

I’ve been using Snapseed to edit my photos for a while and I have to say that it’s been such a big help. Before Snapseed, I was thinking about purchasing Lightroom. But, Snapseed is just as good with many of the same features.

What I use the most in Snapseed is the tune image, details, HDR scape, and grainy film. However, it’s so much more you can play around within this app. Go try it out for yourself and see how you like it! Here’s the difference in one of my photos edited and unedited. img_2100

Story Templates = Unfold:

I don’t always use apps for my stories, but when I do I use Unfold. There are a pretty good variety of templates that you can choose from and I like how simple and easy it is to use. You can also create multiple stories and upload them all at the same time! It’s such a great app if you’re looking to spice up your Instagram story game! img_2095

Unfollower Tracker = Followers Track For Insta:

With Instagram, people have started doing the follow/unfollow method to gain followers. So, the follow/unfollow method is when a user will follow another account and once that account follows them back they will unfollow them. This is something that I do not participate in because it is not genuine. So, with this app, you can log in and see who has followed you, unfollowed you, who isn’t following you back, who you’re not following back, and more! It’s a great app if you’re looking to keep up with your followers. img_2101 I hope you find these tools/apps helpful in any way.

  1. Thanks for sharing, Nichole! I use Tailwind for Pinterest and have thought about using it for IG (or at least for hashtags), but I hadn’t made the switch yet. After hearing about your initial results, I will definitely be trying it out this week though!
